Time Travel

I time traveled the other day —

          And visited you.

On memories beach we coiled unblemished –

vacillation scudding before the wind in the sea grass.

Certainty endured there —

          waves folded the shuffled sand,

                    no longer retreating.

A sigh of absolution in the taut breeze

          read the wind’s demand,

I am possessed.
